Japan strictly regulates medications. Notably, several stimulant medications common elsewhere โ including Adderall and other amphetamine-based ADHD drugs โ are completely banned, even with a prescription. Other medicines may require an import certificate (Yakkan Shoumei) when carried in larger quantities.
